Description
The 2027 Socialist Modernist Calendar/Architectural Guide is now available for pre-order. Orders ship starting 13 December.
The 2027 Socialist Modernist Calendar is also an architectural guide. Open, it measures 350×520 mm; folded, 350×260 mm. Like the previous editions, it takes you through the twelve months of the year with some of the most representative examples of socialist modernist architecture. QR codes link to our website, www.socialistmodernism.com, where you can follow the state of conservation of each building. The calendar draws international attention to valuable buildings that are threatened by demolition, abandoned, or ignored by local authorities and even by professionals.
The 2027 edition continues the series of publications in the Socialist Modernism collection, which researches the most representative buildings of this style in the former socialist bloc (Romania, Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, former Yugoslavia, Poland, Ukraine etc.). It is an ideal Christmas gift for architects, engineers, visual artists and anyone interested in preserving built heritage.
